McIntosh Laboratory says it has future-proofed its new MX122 AV processor with the inclusion of Dolby Atmos and making it upgradable to support DTS:X and Auro-3D.
It is also compatible with 4K Ultra HD video sources and can upscale lower resolutions to 4K UHD for better picture quality.
As well as its video capabilities, the MX122 can also be used for multi-room audio and video. It can create two additional zones in the home and send selected audio or video to them.
