The TRIC Awards, in partnership with Euronics, will return for 2023 in full splendour at Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London on Tuesday 27 June, where the elite of the TV, radio and online industries will come together to celebrate the most loved shows and talent.
But who will walk away with a prestigious TRIC gong?! That is decided by the public vote – which is now live via the TRIC website and across social media platforms. Both retail industry professionals and members of the public will have the opportunity to choose their favourite stars and shows from the worlds of comedy, drama, factual, entertainment streamed television, news, radio and podcasting.
This year, TRIC’s voting platform is in partnership with TiVo. Voting will close on Friday 12 May at 5pm!
TRIC (The Television and Radio Industries Club) will be celebrating 54 years of the TRIC Awards this year, recognising the very best TV, radio and online shows, as well as Britain’s star talent.
The Awards will be presented in front of a live audience and will again be streamed online on ScreenHits TV for fans to tune in and watch all the action.
Hosting the ceremony will be the newly-appointed TRIC President, Rob Rinder, and co-hosted by the hilarious Judi Love. There will also be a performance by the multitalented Fleur East! She’ll be kicking off the Awards in front of an audience of over 1,000 guests on the day.
A total of 18 hotly-contested awards will be presented this year, recognising the very best in television, radio and online broadcasting, plus the TRIC Special Award. Previous TRIC Awards winners include BBC News presenter, Clive Myrie, Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid, Ruth Jones, Co-Creator of Gavin & Stacey, TV duo Ant and Dec, and former Newsnight presenter, Emily Maitlis.
Each year TRIC supports two charities through its events, and this year it is raising money for Parkinson’s UK and the 45 Aid Society.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available for this year’s event; to enquire about availability and pricing you can get in touch with TRIC Director, Alexia Sciplino: awards@tric.org.uk
