TVD has opened its AV integrated experience, in Bolton, which uses Mitchell & Brown TV – the showroom, training and demonstration facility offers retailers and customers the experience to view the latest integrated AV solutions.
Its year-long upgrade and £600,000 investment in its headquarters is its “crowning jewel” and it said opening the facility in the north bucks the trends for the traditionally “London and Homes Counties” based AV integration sector.
Mat Brown, Co-Founder and Director said: “We wanted to offer both new and existing customers the opportunity to explore the very latest AV technologies from some of the world’s biggest brands, fully integrated into complete solutions in one engaging venue in the north of the UK.”
The TVD Experience Centre features immersive display areas, innovative products and fully integrated solutions from TVD’s key partners including Samsung, Philips, LG and over a dozen big-name brands in the AV sector, who sent representatives to speak to the press on the opening day.
“The TVD Experience Centre provides a level of unrivalled personalisation for clients, both our commercial customers and retail partners, and we are looking forward to presenting a range of events, both TVD and manufacturer-hosted,” added Mr Brown.
Highlights on the Experience Centre include Samsung’s £130,000 110-inch “The Wall” MircoLED display, Vestel’s latest commercial display range, TVs from Mitchell & Brown, and premium commercial audio products.
The innovative technologies on show include LG Electronics’ LED 136 inch all-in-one smart series, Philips power-free Tableaux ePaper displays and Accenta hanging digital posters.
Following the official launch of the TVD Experience Centre, the venue will be used to host a series of bespoke brand-specific events, hosted by TVD’s partner manufacturers, and sector-specific events covering AV for hotels and leisure venues, retail premises, care homes, betting shops, offices and commercial enterprise.
The Mitchell & Brown department of TVD will use its facilities to launch its new product ranges and offer retail training.
