EuronicsCIH is giving its retailers the opportunity to introduce computing products, including laptops, tablets and accessories, to their stores.

On top of the white and brown goods electricals already offered, the buying group, part of Euronics, said this will answer the growing need from consumers “for great products from respected brands”, supported by expert advice, support and fast delivery from its network of independent retailers.

Major computing brands will be available through the group, and Euronics has also partnered with the major IT distributors in the UK to ensure agents can offer products with a next day delivery service.

“Computing products and solutions are a perfect fit for Euronics agents,” said CIH Chairman, Steve Scogings.

“Over the last two years, we have seen how vital IT products have been in the home, helping consumers to keep working, to educate their children, to stay connected with friends and families and so much more. This move will allow people to access and buy these products locally from independent Euronics agents who are trusted for their expertise and for the high quality of service they provide to their communities.”

“My aim is to provide agents with all the tools, training and support they need to take advantage of this fantastic business opportunity,” commented Mr Bailey. “The world of computing is fast-paced and we want to create an environment where agents feel comfortable to sell these products through understanding, education and support.”

He added the introduction will be supported with the training to help retailers encourage sales and marketing collateral to drive awareness and footfall, also with warranty and aftercare support options.

Mr Bailey concluded: “This is only the beginning of Euronics’ plans for expansion with smart home and health and wellbeing solutions on the horizon. Watch this space!”
