Sharp has announced it is launching the new Sharp Roku TV series, they are available in sizes up to 65 inches and it has a price range from £150 to £450.

The Sharp Roku TV range comes with HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG High Dynamic Range image technologies, it will be available from August.

Arthur van Rest, VP International at Roku, stated that “Sharp Roku TV models bring the popular Roku TV experience to consumers, with easy access to live TV, streaming services and free entertainment.”

The new range will come with the Roku TV OS, customisable home screen that allows consumers to personalise their TV experience and it will have thousands of streaming channels such as Netlfix, Disney+, Paramount+, Apple TV and Prime Video, as well as BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, My5 and NOW.

“We are excited to expand our collaboration with Roku and bring an entire line-up of Sharp Roku TVs to the United Kingdom,” commented Sascha Lange, Vice President Marketing and Sales at Sharp.

Sharp has also implemented voice assistant compatibility such as Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. The range also allows the user to share media from a mobile device through the free mobile app or mirror heir screen using Airplay 2 or Miracast, the TV range can also be implemented into smart home systems.
