Voting for the TRIC Awards 2024 is now open!

TRIC has announced that the TRIC Awards will return to Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London this Summer. The lavish event will see the biggest names in television, radio and online broadcasting come together to celebrate Britain’s favourite programmes, presenters and personalities on Tuesday 25 June 2024.

This year marks a very special year for TRIC, as it will be celebrating 55 years of the Awards. It’s going to be big – with newly-appointed TRIC President, Roman Kemp leading the proceedings.

But who will walk away with a prestigious TRIC gong?! That is decided by the public vote – which is now live via the TRIC website and across social media platforms. Across all 17 categories, both retail industry professionals and members of the public will have the opportunity to choose their favourite stars and shows from the worlds of comedy, drama, factual, entertainment streamed television, news, radio and podcasting.

Every year TRIC refreshes its awards categories and for 2024 it is launching a brand new category – the Social Media Broadcast Award, which recognises key influencers creating content shared across social channels, including The Chicken Shop Date’s Amelia Dimoldenberg, Joe Wicks, The Body Coach and Chunkz and Yung Filly.

To reflect the changing ways in which audiences watch, listen and interact with content, the categories will feature nominees drawn from across TV, radio and online – which means the BBC Radio 4’s The Archers will go head-to-head with the likes of EastEnders and Coronation Street in the Soap of the Year!

TRIC has also announced that once again the voting will be delivered in partnership with TiVo.

And spoiler alert!… Voters will have the opportunity to enter a competition to win two tickets to attend the TRIC Awards this Summer, a pair of smart TVs powered by TiVo, and a selection of goody bags.

The awards will be presented in front of a live audience and will again be streamed online for fans to tune in and watch all the action. Joining President Roman Kemp on stage will be the brand new TRIC Chair, Roy Dickens.
