Sirius Buying Group has concluded a successful conference with its glitzy Gala Awards Dinner – held on 17 May 2023 – under the wings of Concorde.
Taking place at the Concorde Conference Centre in Manchester, these annual awards allowed the group to recognise and reward the leading approved suppliers and members to the group, as well as bring a close to this year’s annual conference, the group said.
Mark Veysey, Head of Operations at Sirius Buying Group, said: “The Sirius Awards have become a key platform for our community to all come together and celebrate the leading brands and businesses that make-up our industry with a series of well-deserved accolades. The results speak for themselves, and as we evolve to serve the demands of our ever-expanding market, we wanted to shine a light on some of the most influential leaders across seven major categories in electrical retail.”

Sirius said its Group Gala Awards Dinner was “a fantastic evening” where the drinks flowed and guests got to enjoy a night of comedy and live music. Once again, the group’s management team wishes to applaud the generosity shown at this year’s Charity Auction where invitees got to bid on products for a good cause. Donations throughout the night helped to raise over £9,000 for the DEC Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal, which will provide essential humanitarian aid for those in need.
