TP Vision, the brand licensee for the design, manufacturing and sales of Philips TVs and Philips Sound products, has once again been recognised for its commitment to outstanding European design. Both Philips TV and Philips Sound have received prestigious 2026 Red Dot Product Design Awards, reinforcing TP Vision’s position as a leader in premium consumer electronics design.
By combining European design expertise with in-house engineering and continuous innovation, TP Vision develops products that deliver exceptional performance while fitting naturally into modern lifestyles. Central to this approach is the company’s dedicated design team based in Amsterdam, whose work continues to earn recognition from consumers, retailers, specialist media and the international design community.
Dating back to 1955, the Red Dot Design Award is one of the world’s most respected design competitions. An independent jury of around 40 international design experts evaluates thousands of entries from more than 60 countries to recognise excellence in innovation, functionality, quality, ergonomics, durability and sustainability.
Commenting on the awards, Rod White, Chief Design Officer at TP Vision, said: “Our dedicated in-house engineering and design teams make us truly unique within consumer electronics, allowing Philips TV & Sound to create products with genuine differentiation. These awards recognise our ambition to combine outstanding performance, timeless European design and an ongoing commitment to sustainability. Receiving the official recognition of the Red Dot jury remains one of the most valued acknowledgements of our work.”

Philips Ambilight OLED+911
Building on many years of successful collaboration with audio specialists Bowers & Wilkins, the Philips Ambilight OLED+911 represents the latest flagship in premium home entertainment by combining reference-level picture quality, immersive Ambilight technology and exceptional integrated sound.
The OLED+911 design is based on the principle of De-Tech, replacing aggressive performance styling with clean, rounded geometric forms that allow the television to blend into contemporary living spaces. A refined dark-grey, 3D-textured acoustic fabric seamlessly integrates the Bowers & Wilkins sound system, creating a calm and sophisticated appearance.
The result is a television that discreetly conceals its cutting-edge technology behind a minimalist design, while delivering flagship picture quality, class-leading sound and the uniquely immersive Ambilight viewing experience.

Philips H8000E Headphones
The Philips H8000E over-ear headphones combine premium performance with everyday usability and a strong focus on sustainability.
Available in both black and white, the headphones are manufactured using a minimum of 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic. Their removable ear caps provide easy access to the battery, allowing users to replace it and extend the product’s lifespan.
Combined with a clean, understated design and the elimination of unnecessary secondary finishes, the Philips H8000E reflects Philips’ commitment to creating products that are designed for both long-term ownership and reduced environmental impact.
