Haier Europe has announced its appointment of Neil Tunstall as its new Chief Executive Officer; he was appointed as its UK & Ireland Managing Director seven months ago.
Mr Tunstall will begin as Haier Europe CEO in April and will take over from the outgoing boss, Yannick Fierling.

Mr Tunstall said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to lead Haier Europe. It is a business with an impressive manufacturing footprint, a strong brand portfolio, a talented team and an enviable reputation as a leader in the major appliances industry. I am convinced by the strength of Haier Europe’s fundamentals and its potential, and I look forward to building on the great work already in place.
“I will be very focused on working with the central Haier Europe team and the markets to remain at the forefront of innovation in product technology and scenario-based solutions, as we serve millions of people around the world who use our products every day.”
Mr Tunstall will lead Haier’s work in the region, promising to promote long-term value creation for more customers and consumers across the region, aiming to position Haier Europe as the first consumer choice for smart home solutions.
He will retain his responsibilities to the UK market until a successor is appointed.
