Caple launches new kitchen showroom at Bristol HQ

Caple has opened a new UK kitchen showroom at its Bristol HQ to raise awareness of its new Caple Studios initiative.

Occupying 1,200sq ft and featuring top-quality furniture and high-performance appliances, the showroom will provide customers with extra space to peruse more products from the brand’s comprehensive collections. The Caple Studio will complement the existing Caple Experience Centre.

The new Caple Studios concept creates a significant move into the consumer market as other showrooms look set to follow in a series of strategic high street locations. These, however, will be open to the end user with dedicated kitchen designers on-hand to help the homeowner create their dream Caple kitchen. This diversification forms part of the brand’s future development and growth plan.

Caple Managing Director, Danny Lay, explains how he formulated this concept during the first lockdown: “Like many suppliers, I started to think how we could ‘pivot’ our company and look for new routes to market. As we are the only business in the UK to offer appliances, sinks, taps and kitchen furniture under the Caple brand, it made sense to approach a number of our existing customers with a solus arrangement. This way, they benefit from one supplier with all of the advantages that it brings.”

Mr Lay added that retailers have the ability to make greater margins by channelling more business through one supplier. “We can even protect their business by offering a solus geographical area,” he said.

Each Caple Studio will be designed and created to cater for specific clientele in that designated area so the retailer can benefit from a bespoke showroom to suit their customers’ individual needs.
