AMDEA has announced its 2050 Appliances of the Future – the Road to Net Zero conference in partnership with the Office for Product Safety and Standards, and hosted by City University of London – it will take place 21 September.
Maggie Philbin OBE, broadcaster, is Chairing the line-up of CEOs from the UK’s leading brands, senior government regulators, academics and senior figures from the major appliance retailers will discuss the challenges and new approaches to design.
It will also discuss how to support consumers to make sustainable choices and how the regulatory environment will enable the industry to achieve 2050 net zero emissions.
A leading technology futurologist will close the day with insights into the technological and societal advances that will influence the industry in ten to fifteen years’ time.
Delegates will also enjoy a manufacturers showcase and a tour of the new AV/VR/AI suite at City University.
