The Funky Appliance Company launches two monochrome sets

The Funky Appliance Company has launched two new colour ranges for 2022.

The new black and white collections will cover the brand’s three products – the Funky Toaster, Funky Kettle and Funky Iron.

The new colour ranges come as Co-Founders, and husband-and-wife team, Joe and Sadie Sillett, successfully completed their seventh round of Seedrs funding in January, having raised £1.2 million of investment to grow the company, which was founded in 2016.

Joe Sillett said: “We’re delighted to see the black and white set now being sold instore and online. Both sets look absolutely fabulous.

“Black and white are in the five most popular colours for appliances and adding these colours to our existing Chrome, Cream and Rose Gold Pink made huge commercial sense.”

The Kettle and Toaster collections have received glowing reports since their launch, with the Funky Toaster receiving the coveted status of Best New Product Small Domestic Appliances at the ERT Awards 2021, while the set was voted Number 1 Kettle and Toaster Set with Real Homes Magazine in 2021, and the Toaster named Best Fun Appliance with The Independent in 2021.

The Funky Appliance Company has also begun advertising in London on large digital screens at eight London Underground stations, with a TV advert now running until mid-May, which will be seen on SKY TV. You can view the advert here.

In other news, The Funky Appliance Company recently partnered with RKW to sell and distribute its products through over 100 retailers in the UK and Ireland, as well as several leading UK online retailers.
