Sharp launches new ‘ultra-smart’ oven series

Sharp is launching a new “ultra-smart” oven series that works with world-first cooking platform, Innit.

Coming in two urban chic finishes – stainless steel and black – the extra-large capacity 78-Litre offers a connected cooking experience along with automated settings for perfectly cooked dish results every time.

Sharp said this “groundbreaking” new series will inspire creativity in the kitchen and shake up dinner routines.

With the Sharp Innit-enabled Love2Cook KS-76S50 model, users can instantly unlock, adapt and customise hundreds of Innit recipes and mix and match ingredients simply by swiping and tapping their smartphone.

Love2Cook promises to deliver perfectly cooked dishes, automatically working with Innit to set the ideal temperature, cooking mode and oven time for every newly-customised recipe. Thanks to the oven’s integration with Innit, the programme timings of multi-dish meals are also co-ordinated automatically.

Sharp’s KS-76S50 Smart Oven offers a choice of 150 functions and three different-sized trays, while Love2Cook supports ambitious cooks, offering specialist features such as pizza, flatbreads and pastries with the Pizza function, and roasting large meat joints and poultry with cutting-edge accessories, such as the RoastPro Turnspit.

This A-rated energy efficient oven also offers time-saving features; for quick meal turnarounds, cooks can cut heating times by up to 50 per cent with the PowerBoost function or avoid oven programming by choosing one of the 150 pre-sets.

For a faster and more efficient alternative to pyrolytic oven cleaning, Love2Cook’s VapClean function relies on the steam generated from a manually water-filled tray to vaporise and dislodge hard-to-remove grease and grime in just 20 minutes.

Complementing every style of kitchen, Love2Cook boasts a contemporary colourful LED display and distinctive matte black handle, not to mention the soft close door mechanism and EasyFix full telescopic runners, for quick and easy access to dishes.

Head of the MDA Product Line at Sharp, Seçkin Gençoğlu, commented: “Providing the missing link between world-class cooking know-how and leading-edge oven technology, our collaboration with Innit has really enabled us to step up to the plate, and offer a totally connected and personalised cooking experience.

“We can now provide access to everything from customisable recipes for our oven through to specialist cooking features and automated cooking settings, so that families have all the on-tap assistance they need to expand their repertoire of dishes.

“An oven for everyone, Love2Cook breaks the monotony of cooking the same dishes, offering unconditional support for cooks who might not always have the confidence, time or experience to try making something new.

“Whether it’s to create healthy ‘fakeaways’ on a Friday night, challenge the neighbours to a virtual bake-a-thon, or cook up a storm with pre-set recipes, our oven is designed to enhance dish results and bring some fun back into the kitchen for cooks of all abilities.”
