Sharp Consumer Electronics is expanding its home cinema segment by presenting new devices with 3D surround sound supporting Dolby Atmos.

It is presenting its new line-up of Dolby Atmos & Aquos Wireless surround sound technology at CES 2024, in Las Vegas – with the products expected to be launched in the European market in the second quarter of 2024.

Its affordable home cinema devices, with first-class immersive 3D cinema sound, is equipped with Dolby Atmos technology and can either decode and play Dolby Atmos audio signals (HT-SB700) or support the playback of Dolby Atmos audio content from compatible Sharp TVs (HT-AWS2001 and HT-AWS0101).HTSB700 PS C6 XRAY

Sharp’s HT-SB700 2.0.2 soundbar is Sharp’s most compact and affordable Dolby Atmos soundbar to date. It was developed for small to medium-sized living spaces and impresses with its minimalist design and width of just 52 cm! Despite its discreet size, it offers an uncompromising Dolby Atmos experience.

The HT-AWS2001 wireless rear surround speakers are the first product from Sharp to be equipped with the new AQUOS Wireless Surround technology. AQUOS Wireless Surround transmits multi-channel sound (including Dolby Atmos) wirelessly from a compatible Sharp TV to the Sharp AQUOS Wireless Surround speakers.

With HT-AWS2001 rear surround speakers, for example, the new Sharp FQ series TVs can be converted from a 2.0-channel Dolby Atmos system into a 4.0-channel full surround experience. The HT-AWS0101 wireless flat subwoofer adds an extra dose of bass to the set-up, further enhancing the cinema-style experience at home.
