Russell Hobbs has announced that it has achieved The Quiet Mark certification for 36 of its appliances.
Products in the approved range include Fridge Freezers, Tumble Dryers, Cooker Hoods, Air Purifiers, Fans, Heating and Floorcare.
Independent global certification programme, Quiet Mark, is linked to the UK Noise Abatement Society, a charitable foundation established in 1959. Quiet Mark aims to identify the quietest products and gives a unique mark of approval through conducting scientific testing and assessment to determine the result. As a trusted resource platform, the Quiet Mark certification offers reliable, independent information about a product’s noise level and noise reduction performance before purchase.
The global pandemic resulted in a shift in daily life, so for consumers the line between work and home became blurred. Due to this shift, the demand for quieter technology is rising as noise can impact sleep, elevate stress levels and lower productivity.
