Russell Hobbs Quiet Mark Cooker HoodThe global pandemic resulted in a shift in daily life, so for consumers the line between work and home became blurred. Due to this shift, the demand for quieter technology is rising as noise can impact sleep, elevate stress levels and lower productivity.

Opting for quieter technology and implementing a more peaceful environment that promotes well-being in every aspect of home, work and daily life is a top priority, and the primary goal of the Quiet Mark certification is to enhance health and well-being by encouraging manufacturers worldwide to prioritise responsible acoustic designs and reduce noise pollution.

Commenting on the recently achieved certification, Katie Holland at Product Care Group for Russell Hobbs, said: “The Quiet Mark certification is a great achievement for Russell Hobbs, and we’re pleased to have over 30 of our products classified. Excess noise in the home can be a problem and be a disruption to everyday life, so we’re overjoyed that a range of our appliances are able to enhance well-being in the home and work.”
