Raise a glass to Caple’s new wine cabinets

Let’s make a toast as multi award-winning appliance specialist, Caple, has introduced two new wine cabinets – the Classic WC1792 and Sense WC1796 – to its collection.

Both models are in-column, they feature an impressive A-rating for energy efficiency and Caple’s signature no-frost compressor cooling technology, which maintains a constant temperature.

Caple’s product manager, Luke Shipway, said: “We are delighted to have achieved an A-rating in energy efficiency for both wine cabinets. These models now join our comprehensive range from undercounter and in-column to freestanding models.”

In terms of aesthetics, these cabinets feature telescopic beech shelves, to allow for full extension if required, and modern, square stainless-steel handles. They have UV/heat free white LED lighting, fan circulated cool air for even temperature distribution and they are vibration free. Both models also operate at 45dB, which is far lower than conversation levels (at 59dB).

For additional functionality, two heaters raise the internal temperature when the external temperature drops. The cabinets feature an electronic temperature control and LED display with triple stacked temperature zones, which are independently controlled, for storing and serving.

The cabinets can hold a maximum of 89 Bordeaux-style wine bottles (29 bottles in the upper zone, 25 bottles in the middle zone and 35 bottles in the lower zone) but can accommodate Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne.
