Pro-Ject Audio has introduced the Colourful Audio System 2 and Colourful Audio System E – two complete hi-fi systems that make it easier than ever to enjoy fantastic stereo sound. Each system includes a turntable, amplifier, and stereo speakers.
Firstly, the Colourful Audio System 2 comprises a Debut EVO 2 turntable, a MaiA S3 amplifier and a pair of Speaker Box 5 S2 bookshelf speakers. The Debut EVO 2 features a carbon fibre tonearm and a heavy, damped aluminium platter. It comes fitted with the Pick it MM EVO cartridge.
The S3 amplifier measures just 206cm wide but packs a punch, delivering 40 watts of power per channel and accommodating eight inputs, including wireless Bluetooth and a phono stage.

The MaiA amp comes in black, and the turntable and speakers are available in six satin finishes (Black, Fir Green, Golden Yellow, Steel Blue, White, and Wine Red), with Wine Red being exclusive to this system, as well as a Walnut real wood veneer.
Secondly, the System E pairs the Debut E turntable with the Stereo Box E amplifier and Speaker Box 5 E Carbon bookshelf speakers. Pro-Ject designed the Debut E turntable specifically for this package, and it is only available as part of the Colourful Audio System E.
The new deck features a solid MDF plinth, aluminium tonearm, and Ortofon OM5e cartridge, while the Stereo Box E amplifier ticks off 40W per channel, six inputs, and Bluetooth streaming.

Like its counterpart, the Colourful Audio System E offers a choice of satin finishes (Black, Fir Green, Golden Yellow, Steel Blue, and White) plus a Walnut veneer option, with the amplifier finished in black.
The Pro-Ject team also said that assembling the right components of a hi-fi system can feel overwhelming for the consumer, especially when a turntable is involved.
