Miele has announced the launch of its latest vacuum cleaner range, the Guard series, available in the UK and Ireland from 3 March 2025.
Combining Miele’s signature build quality with modern design and advanced convenience features, the new collection promises to deliver outstanding cleaning performance for all household needs.
Research indicates that the average European household uses two vacuum cleaners, with 68 per cent of these being a cylinder model. The Miele Guard bagged cylinder range is engineered to work alongside Miele’s cordless handstick vacuums, ensuring a comprehensive cleaning solution for every home.
The Guard L1 range
The range includes three models:
- Guard S1 (Small) – A lightweight, compact option.
- Guard M1 (Medium) – Ideal for general household cleaning.
- Guard L1 (Large) – A high-performance model with premium features.
Miele’s commitment to quality is evident in the 20-year equivalent durability testing undergone by each model. Select vacuums in the range feature HEPA filtration, effectively trapping fine dust and allergens, making them an excellent choice for allergy sufferers.
Miele’s Guard L1 Parquet XL
Not only are these vacuums built for performance, but they also showcase Miele’s premium design ethos. Features such as ergonomic handles, intuitive controls, and automatic suction adjustment (on select models) enhance ease of use. The Guard L1 Comfort XL introduces a market-first Wi-Fi connectivity feature for bagged vacuums, allowing users to monitor the vacuum bag fill level and exhaust filter condition via the Miele app.
The new ComfortFit system offers a uniquely designed vacuum bag with a secure locking mechanism, ensuring dust is efficiently contained. The HyClean Pure bags, made from 80 per cent recycled materials, boast an impressive 99.99 per cent filtration rate, effectively trapping even the finest dust particles.
