Leading appliance manufacturer, Hisense, has unveiled a major breakthrough in premium laundry innovation with the launch of its brand-new KitchenFit 5i Heat Pump Washer Dryer.
Designed with features to meet the demands of contemporary lifestyles, the new model combines cutting-edge smart technology, ultra-efficient performance and seamless built-in design, delivering a powerful new standard in integrated laundry care without compromising on capacity, convenience or style.
This landmark launch represents a significant milestone for Hisense and the wider home appliance industry in the evolution of premium home appliances, Hisense says. It also reflects broader industry shifts towards energy efficiency, intelligent automation, and sustainability.
As governments and regulators across Europe accelerate the transition to lower-energy household technologies, heat pump dryers are rapidly becoming the new benchmark for laundry care, offering dramatically reduced electricity consumption compared to traditional vented and condenser models.
More advanced than vented or condenser washer dryers, the KitchenFit 5i Heat Pump Washer Dryer takes laundry care to the next level, saving about 410kWh of electricity and 9,460 litres of water annually*, making it significantly more efficient.
The model features a closed-loop heat exchange system which recycles energy and intelligent temperature control to gently protect fabrics. The emission-free drying process locks heat inside, delivering both eco-conscious performance and long-lasting care for garments.
Perfectly suited to compact kitchens or laundry spaces, the 5i Heat Pump Washer Dryer has Hisense’s unique KitchenFit design, created to blend seamlessly into cabinetry with a sleek, flush finish due to the models’ shallow depth. Ideal for maximising space or for those who want to create a built-in look, the innovative Max Drum also ensures you don’t compromise on capacity, maintaining the same height and width while optimising depth efficiency.
The 5i Heat Pump Washer Dryer also provides a next-level smart laundry experience with AI Super Wash & Dry, which has 13 advanced sensors to automatically detect a load’s weight, moisture and temperature to optimise every wash and dry cycle. As well as keeping your clothes spotlessly clean, the Washer Dryer is also 30 per cent more efficient than A-rated for washing and 10 per cent more efficient than A-rated for drying, with A-rated spin performance and noise levels, making it Super Energy Efficient whilst minimising energy consumption and helping to save on utility bills.
Other premium features include Pure Jet Pro technology, which enhances wash cycle effectiveness by 38 per cent**. The appliance also features Quick Wash Pro for faster wash times without compromising cleanliness, alongside Eco Boost, QuickBoost, and Cold Wash settings for added efficiency and convenience.
Product marketing manager at Hisense, Michelle Feng, commented: “The KitchenFit 5i Heat Pump Washer Dryer is a very welcomed launch to our laundry range at Hisense. We prioritise the needs of consumers, and these models provide advanced features and performance for optimum results, whilst also contributing to a better environment.
“Delivering a reliable performance while maintaining a seamless, built-in look, these models have been thoughtfully engineered for modern living, with efficiency, performance and large capacity.”

**In the Quick Wash programme, the pre-mixing jet, combined with jet wash spraying and the recirculating jet achieves an overall time saving of 38 per cent.
