Romanian luxury audio brand, Meze Audio, has announced the launch of its “highly-anticipated” 105 SILVA headphones. Following what it says was an “incredibly warm reception” for the evolutionary pair of open-back headphones at this year’s Munich HIGH END show, Meze Audio has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the world of acoustic enjoyment.
According to the brand, the headphones fuse vintage charm with contemporary aesthetics; the radial grille sublimely intertwines with the walnut wood to form the ear cups, creating a feel that never truly ages.
Within lies a dynamic 50mm titanium covered driver – its cellulose composite dome helps produce a crisp, engaging and detailed audio experience. Meanwhile, its precise rigidity makes for a fast transient response and pleasantly textured bass with minimal distortion.
Inspired by the leaps forward which came before it, 105 SILVA channels the technicalities of 109 PRO combined with the warmth and genre versatility of 105 AER. 105 SILVA specialises in mid-range presentation for vocals and strings, meaning listeners can enjoy the liveliness and impact of any music without sacrificing the micro details present in well-recorded tracks.
105 SILVA is available now for $499, €499, £469.
