Blomberg unveiled first-time products at this year’s CIH Show

Blomberg showcased a variety of new products across all categories at the Euronics Showcase at Birmingham’s NEC earlier this week.

This included a number of first-time appliances, such as its recently-awarded Which? Best Buy appliances and Graphite range, which had a hugely successful launch in 2018.

What’s more, Beko was awarded the ‘Best Stand’ at the show.

Beko plc channel manager for independents, Steve Naylor, said: “We are delighted to have won the Best Stand award at this year’s Euronics Show. The layout and design really helped us to deliver the messages for all of the new products we were showing across our three brands.

“We were also thrilled to be back at the show and enjoyed catching up face to face with our Euronics agents. We have taken on board our customer’s feedback on what they thought was missing in the Blomberg range and were pleased to unveil some exciting new appliances.”

Cooling

The KND4682LW (freestanding 60cm combi) and KND4552i (built-in combi) are Blomberg’s first ever combis that feature a dual cooling system, which uses two separate fans and evaporators to prevent food from drying out in the fridge. It also avoids any transfer of odours and both combis boast an A++ energy rating.

The KWD253PX is Blomberg’s first non-plumbed water and ice American side-by-side fridge freezer, offering cubed or crushed ice and chilled water on tap, without any plumbing required. Simply keep the glass water tank in the fridge topped up with water so that it can pump round to the freezer, where you can then dispense ice and water from the freezer door.

All three new refrigeration products also come with Blue Light technology. The blue LED lights act as natural sunlight to preserve the freshness of fruits and vegetables.

Cooking

In line with the trend towards built-in cooking appliances, Blomberg has introduced the OKW9440X compact combi microwave, featuring FastChef technology. It combines the speed of microwave cooking with the high performance of oven cooking and can provide up to 50 per cent faster cooking.

Blomberg also has easy cleaning solutions in place within its ODN9302X double oven and OEN9322X multifunction oven, including catalytic liners, steam cleaning and an oleophobic nano coating.

Completing the built-in cooking range is the MIN54308N 60cm induction hob with easy installation clips, ensuring a quick and stress-free installation without the need for screws or additional fixing features.

Laundry and dishwashing

Following the successful launch of the Graphite range in 2018, a new washer-dryer (LRF2854121G) has now been added to the line-up. Offering an 8kg wash and 5kg dry capacity, it also has a handy Wash&Wear programme that allows you to clean and dry 1kg of laundry in 60 minutes.

The brand has also responded to the success of the FasterDry 8kg heat-pump tumble dryer and launched a new version to the range – LTP2832W – with an A++ energy rating and heat-pump technology.

Completing the range of new appliances is the LDV42124 built-in dishwasher with a large 14-place setting capacity.
