Bertazzoni launches its first induction range cooker with integrated extraction

Bertazzoni has launched its first induction top range cooker with integrated hood.

The 90cm model (PROCH94I1ECAT) sits within the Italian brand’s signature Professional Series and integrates three appliances in one – oven, induction cooktop and hood.

Available in six colourways – black, white, yellow, orange, red and stainless steel – some of which feature the same paint applied to famous Italian luxury sports cars, the freestanding appliance showcases a fine combination of design and high performance.

The oven has a 103L capacity, 11 functions and electronic digital programmer with food probe for perfect cooking, along with a soft-close, triple-glazed door.

The induction cooktop has four active heating zones which surround the integrated hood. Designed to capture grease, odours and steam at the source, the central ventilation grid has nine power levels and a boost function – for optimal efficiency yet quiet extraction. The hood’s ‘automatic’ dedicated-knob setting makes control easy, with the extraction power setting automatically, according to the number and power of the induction zones actually used.

Previewed at EuroCucina 2022, the product is the latest introduction from the six-generation, family-owned Italian manufacturer.

Maurizio Severgnini, MD of Bertazzoni UK & Eire, said: “Range cookers are arguably one of the most complex kitchen appliances out there and we’ve drawn on our 140 years of experience to launch an outstanding model.

“The technical know-how of our product development team is second to none and that, combined with the manufacturing capabilities of our global facility in Italy has resulted in the creation of a truly exceptional range cooker. We’re so very proud that Bertazzoni, in our 140th year, has accomplished this achievement.

“This induction-topped range cooker with integrated extraction offers the very best in modern and efficient technology; cooking effectively and with streamlined extraction at the source.”
