Peterborough-based Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited, parent company to KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Hotpoint and Indesit, has received a Top Employer 2019 award.

In line with the goal of developing talent, Whirlpool EMEA offers a fast track management programme; an international career path created to train future leaders that offers employees the opportunity to experience 30-month, cross-country, rotations at Whirlpool’s EMEA locations.

One of the key learning and development projects is the EMEA Learning Hub, which provides over 300 online learning activities available in 16 different languages. What’s more, starting in 2019, all employees working in the administrative and management offices will be able to enjoy smart working, in order to strengthen the Company’s commitment to work-life balance and promote flexibility and collaboration among teams.

Camila Perina, HR Director UK & Ireland, Whirlpool UK (pictured at the top with Alessio Tanganelli, Regional Director for UK, France, Spain and Italy, Top Employers Institute), said: “Whirlpool UK is delighted to have received the prestigious Top Employers recognition for a second consecutive year. Developing careers and nurturing our colleagues is so important to us, and to be recognised for our dedication towards this is an amazing achievement. We will continue to provide the best offering and work environment to our employees as part of Whirlpool Corporation.”
