TRIC Christmas Lunch takes place next week at new London venue!

The TRIC Christmas Lunch is taking place at a new venue this year, one of London’s ‘uber boutique’ hotels – The Londoner on Leicester Square. It’s a hot-spot for many celebrities and royalty, including the Prince and Princess of Wales!

The Club will be dedicating the day to the hard-working newsrooms and radio broadcasters of the UK. It’s been a momentous year for news, and the organisers said it was about time to offer thanks and celebrate the excellent work that the broadcasters do round the clock.

On Tuesday 6 December at midday, the biggest names in news, radio and TV will come together to celebrate the year and start the Christmas season in true TRIC glamour at the Christmas Lunch, along with its headline sponsor, Euronics.

Hosting the now sold-out event will be TRIC Chair, Dan Todaro, TRIC President, Alex Jones and Vice Presidents, Jon Culshaw and Ainsley Harriot. There will also be live performances and entertainment throughout the day.

Two very special awards will be presented, the TRIC Special Award and Outstanding Contribution Award, followed by the announcement of TRIC’s new president for 2023. And it wouldn’t be the TRIC Christmas Lunch without its infamous raffle and silent auction!

Chair, Dan Todaro, said: “It’s been an exciting year for the Club, where we have led TRIC into new sectors, strengthening its relationships with partners such as Sky, Euronics, Sony, Roberts and Smeg and attracted new partners such as TalkTV. It’s been an honour to work with the fantastic Alex Jones, who has been an excellent President in 2022, and delivered a truly brilliant Awards show in July, which helped us raise money for Save the Children and the Alzheimer’s Society.

“At this Christmas Lunch we will be raising money for two new charities, and it’s the final date in the calendar where TRIC will be bringing the industry back together again to celebrate the start of the festive season.

“It’s the perfect opportunity to treat clients, partners or reward staff for all of their support over the year, so do come and join us!”
