Voting is officially open for the TRIC Awards 2026, giving the public the power to decide who will take home one of the industry’s most prestigious honours.
Once again, TRIC is handing control to viewers, listeners and fans across the UK, inviting them to cast their votes for their favourites across television, radio and online.
For the third consecutive year, voting is proudly delivered in partnership with TiVo®. By casting their votes, participants will also have the chance to enter an exclusive competition to win two tickets to attend the glittering awards ceremony, along with a 55 inch Smart TV Powered by TiVo.
Voting is now open – vote here: poll-tric.org.uk
From powerful dramas and fan-favourite soaps to popular radio shows and leading content creators, the awards celebrate the voices and programmes that have captured audiences during 2025.
The 2026 longlists reflect the breadth and diversity of the industry, bringing together familiar favourites alongside a fresh wave of rising stars.
Returning winners such as Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston & Amanda Holden, Staying Relevant, LadBaby, The Chase, and Call the Midwife are once again in the spotlight, while new contenders including Saving Grace, LOL: Last One Laughing, Adolescence and Billy & Dom Eat the World make their debut on the list.
This year’s longlists were compiled by a newly formed TRIC Voting Panel made up of leading figures from companies across the media landscape, including:
- Bauer Media
- BBC Radio 2
- Google TV
- Global
- TiVo
- Tubi
- Sky Sports News
Their expertise ensures the awards continue to reflect the programmes, personalities and platforms that audiences truly love.
Voting will remain open for four weeks and will close at 5:00pm on April 17 2026, after which the final shortlist will be announced in May.
The winners will be revealed at the 57th TRIC Awards Ceremony on June 23 2026, returning to its iconic home at The Great Room, Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London — one of the most anticipated events in the media and entertainment calendar.
True to TRIC’s long-standing commitment to charitable causes, the 2026 Awards will proudly support two remarkable organisations: Refuge, the UK’s largest provider of specialist support for venerable women and children experiencing domestic abuse, and Bright Young Dreams, a charity helping to address the growing crisis in children’s mental health.
With only a limited time to make their voices heard, audiences are encouraged to cast their votes early and ensure their favourites make the shortlist for this summer’s spectacular celebration of broadcast and online excellence.
