TRIC Awards 2023 nominees announced

The nominees have been announced for this year’s TRIC Awards as voted for by the public, which will be presented by TRIC President, Rob Rinder and co-hosted by comedian, Judi Love at a lavish ceremony on Tuesday 27th June.

TRIC (The Television and Radio Industries Club) will be celebrating 54 years of the TRIC Awards, and recognising the very best TV, radio and online shows, as well as Britain’s most-loved stars and talent. The public has spoken and we will announce their favourites.

Working in partnership with Euronics, Europe’s largest retail buying group, the awards will be presented in front of an invited audience of over 1,000 guests and for the third year running, fans can watch all the action on a livestream via the ScreenHits TV platform.

This year’s venue is the prestigious Grosvenor House, on Park Lane. The event will be preceded by a glamorous red carpet complete with press and media, organisers said.

With over a staggering 1.6 million votes cast by the public, the shortlist contains some of the biggest and best-loved names in the broadcasting industry. It promises to be a hugely entertaining ceremony, with celebrities joining the fun, drawn from the world of comedy, drama, entertainment, factual, news and streamed content. Plus an exclusive live performance from Fleur East.

TRIC Chair, Daniel Todaro, commented: “What makes the TRIC Awards so special is that it’s the public who gets to choose who wins a coveted TRIC Award and hold a place in history alongside those who have won in our 54 year history. The Television and Radio Industries Club, a not for profit organisation, achieved over 1.6 million votes cast by the general public to select their favourite TV, Radio & Streaming programming, celebrities and moments. I’m exceptionally proud of the nominees all chosen by you, the fans, that watches, the listeners and the streamers who make winning a TRIC Award a bit more personal”.

Previous attendees include Roman Kemp, Piers Morgan, Kate Garraway, Steph McGovern, Ainsley Harriot, Emily Maitlis, Rylan Clark, Clive Myrie, Danny Dyer, Alan Carr, Lorraine Kelly, Michael McIntyre, and many more.
