Smeg UK introduces a new kitchen studio team

Clockwise: Tim Taylor, Tracey Turner, Holly Hayzelden and Pina Brown.

Smeg UK has announced a string of promotions to its all-new kitchen studio team.

As part of a long-term plan to develop relationships with independents, the Italian manufacturer has set-up a brand new team dedicated to supporting kitchen studios and specialist retailers.

With Smeg’s usual training programmes unable to take place, many existing team members have taken a step up into Regional Sales Account Manager positions. Looking to grow and develop the built-in side of the business, the new team will support this growing sector across their territories.

Tim Taylor will be responsible for Scotland, Cumbria and Northumbria. Tracey Turner for North and East, Pina Brown for South and West and Holly Hayzelden for South East.

This restructure is set to strengthen Smeg’s offering to retailers across the board. The new Regional Sales Account Managers have extensive product knowledge and advice that they will be able to share in their new role. They will play an instrumental part in Smeg’s retailer presence nationwide.

Kris Horley, Head of Independent Kitchen and Independent Retail at Smeg, commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Pina, Tracey and Holly to the team. Along with Tim, they will form an important part of our strategy moving forward by developing and supporting customers within the kitchen market. Key to their role is highlighting the difference Smeg can bring to studio businesses with unique design options, feature-rich products and excellent margins that stand out in the marketplace.”
