Smeg UK has welcomed three new additions to its team, with the new recruits bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to their new roles in the day-to-day running of the company.

Firstly, Kulvinder Rayit has been appointed as Sales Support Manager. He has spent the last eight years within a Senior Training Manager role at Beko plc.

With over 20 years in retail training across the electrical goods sector, Mr Rayit will lead the support of Smeg’s kitchen distribution sector nationally, working closely alongside premium home solutions specialist, Häfele.

Kris Horley, Head of Independents at Smeg, said: “I am pleased to welcome Kully to Smeg; he brings a wealth of experience within the appliance market, and I look forward to working with him in helping our customers.”

Secondly, Beckie Vidotto has joined as Regional Sales Manager across the South West, South Wales and the West Midlands, as well as working as Smeg’s Business Development Manager within the independent electrical retail sector.

Ms Vidotto joins with over 20 years’ experience in the sector – her most recent roles were at Sabichi Homewares, Electrolux and GDHA.

Mr Horley said of her appointment: “I am delighted to welcome Beckie to the Smeg family; her experience is vital as we continue to grow our independent retailer base through our Premio Partners scheme.”

Finally, Richard Mackey has started as Product Manager. With three years’ experience at the likes of BenQ and Gorenje, Mr Mackey will work closely with Smeg’s internal and external teams and be responsible for the built-in oven and hob category across the Smeg portfolio – which is a current key focus for the brand.

Federica Torelli, Senior Product Manager at Smeg, said: “Richard brings to the role a wealth of experience within the appliance market and I look forward to working with him in supporting the roll-out of our latest built-in collections.”
