Sirius Buying Group has announced a series of organisational changes at its Head Office in Bristol. The Group said this will “streamline operations and accommodate growth”.

Steve Jones, Managing Director (pictured above), said: “We continue to take a progressive growth mindset to ensure our team is able to serve the needs of every supplier and member within the group, deliver excellent levels of service and that we have the very best personnel in the right roles.”

The company’s internal changes include:

Mark Veysey Sirius RBGMark Veysey, formerly Head of Operations, has become Operations Director at Sirius. He said: “We are always looking to push the boundaries and deliver the best levels of support and service to our Members. I will continue to focus my attention on our Group services and our annual events, including our international conference, UK trade shows and industry awards, which all shine a light on the best brands and businesses that make up our buying group.

“By staying at the forefront of technological advancements, we’re able to maximise opportunities that mutually benefit group members and suppliers, and I look forward to maintaining our collective group efficiency.”

Sirius Marion Morton Head of CommercialSecondly, Marion Morton has become Commercial Director; she was formerly Head of Commercial. She said: “I will continue working closely with our approved suppliers to ensure our members have the right product range and promotional support to drive maximum sales. It is essential that our members receive full support so their customers always have choice and can shop with confidence from a truly independent retailer. We remain committed to supporting the kitchen retail and electrical appliance sectors in maximising these opportunities.”

Next, Darren Scott is now Head of Membership Development; he was formerly National Business Development Manager.

He said: “I am extremely proud to expand my role as I continue to lead initiatives that build our community, strengthen existing relationships, and expand our network of members, which will further assist current members as well as Approved Suppliers.”

Joe Howes, who was formerly Data & Marketing Manager, has become Head of Data & Marketing. He said: “By harnessing enhanced data reporting, we can provide our Suppliers with actionable insights that drive decision-making. Our boost in online activity looks to increase consumer engagement directly to our Members’ stores and websites, while refined brochure improvements will not only offer additional back-end benefits but also elevate Supplier promotional awareness amongst the membership.”

Lastly, Natalie Morris is now Administration & MDA Account Manager. “To be able to use my previous experience as a Senior Buyer helps to give me with the right skills to drive growth, enhance collaboration, and ensure that every partnership we make within the group translates into measurable success,” she said.

Sirius is holding its 2025 Annual International Conference in Tenerife on 18-21 May. Then, its Annual Trade Show returns to Milton Keynes on 17 September.
