Located in the Gracechurch Centre, the new store has been designed as a destination for hi-fi, home cinema and television enthusiasts, combining premium home entertainment products with immersive demonstration facilities and expert advice.
The new location features dedicated Hi-Fi and Home Cinema demonstration rooms, as well as a new Music Lounge concept, offering customers the opportunity to browse a curated vinyl collection and experience hi-fi systems in a relaxed, real-world environment. The retailer said the space has been designed to encourage discovery while creating a community hub for music lovers.
Home cinema enthusiasts will be able to experience a dedicated demonstration room featuring a PSB speaker system powered by Marantz amplification in a Dolby Atmos 5.1.4 configuration, showcasing the latest home cinema technology.
The store also includes a dedicated hi-fi listening area, allowing customers to compare a range of audio systems, whether they are purchasing their first separates system or upgrading an existing setup. Customers can also book private demonstrations with the store’s specialist team.
Completing the experience is a new Headphone Bar, where visitors can test a wide range of wired and wireless headphones and earphones across different price points and listening preferences.
To celebrate the opening, Sevenoaks Sound and Vision will host a grand opening event featuring exclusive promotions, refreshments and live product demonstrations from leading brands including Audiolab, Bluesound, Mission, NAD, PMC, Pro-Ject, PSB, Quad, Sony, Wharfedale and WiiM.
Customers purchasing a turntable during the event will receive up to £30 worth of complimentary vinyl from the store’s in-house record collection, while the first 10 customers to make a purchase will receive a free pair of Sony WF-C510 wireless in-ear headphones.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to enter an opening day competition to win one of nine prizes.
The Sutton Coldfield opening forms part of Sevenoaks Sound and Vision’s continued investment in bricks-and-mortar retail, with a focus on creating destination stores that combine specialist advice, hands-on product demonstrations and immersive customer experiences.
