Sanus is introducing the VXL7, a fixed position TV mount designed to accommodate extra-large screens of up to 140-inches, making it the go to solution for people wanting to invest in a super-size TV.

“We’ve seen a huge uptake in very large screens, with companies such as Hisense and TCL leading the way with 100-inch + options”, says Dean Carroll, Sanus’ international sales director – consumer. “For film lovers, sports fans and gamers, the use of an ultra-large screen delivers an epic viewing experience without the need for a projector-based system. But wall mounting them can be challenging, so the Sanus R&D team have come up with the VXL7, making it much easier to safely install a large size TV.”

The VXL7 is a very versatile mount, working with TVs from 65-inch up to a maximum 140-inch in size. It does this thanks to a clever adjustable design that extends width-ways to accommodate all TV models within these size parameters. The extending wall plate, which can span three studs, and the extendable TV brackets provide a secure and safe mounting of screens with VESA patterns from 200 x 200 up to 1100 x 700.

In addition to its ability to mount very large TVs, weighing up to 136kg, it does so with the screen just 5cm (2-inch) from the wall, to create an aesthetically pleasing presence. The open frame design of the wall plate is such that it can be mounted on the wall around power, aerial and network sockets.

Once installed, the TV can easily be adjusted for height and level using ProSet Plus™ which enables up to 25 mm of adjustment. Lateral adjustment is also possible to perfectly position the screen.

The SANUS VXL7-B2 can be ordered now and has a UK retail price of £129.99 inc. VAT; and in EU countries for €149.99 inc. VAT.
