KBBG celebrates 10th anniversary in the UK

The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG) is celebrating its 10th anniversary in the UK this year.

To mark the occasion, the Group is hosting its largest, most-prestigious Annual Members’ Meeting on 12 June at the home of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, Silverstone.

The KBBG (part of DER KREIS, one of Europe’s leading kitchen and bathroom buying groups) launched the first independent buying group for the KBB industry in the UK 10 years ago, and since then it has successfully supported independent kitchen and bathroom specialists across the country. The Group offers its UK members exclusive buying conditions and access to a broad range of leading kitchen and bathroom suppliers, ensuring they stay ahead of the competition, while maintaining their independence.

Bill Miller, Managing Director of the KBBG, said despite the few “sceptics” in the Group’s early days he can confidently say that members are reaping the benefits of being part of the buying group.

“We hold our Members’ Meeting annually and this year’s event will be a true reflection on how far we have come,” he said. “The Silverstone Wing Building, which overlooks the start/ finish line of the world-famous British Circuit in Northamptonshire, has the capacity for our ever-growing membership, as well as space for our largest ever ‘Supplier Display Area’. Our exhibiting suppliers will be sharing exclusive offers only available to members on the day.”

The 2023 Annual Members’ Meeting is sponsored by kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture manufacturer, JJO Plc. With the opportunity to hear from inspirational speakers and plenty of networking breaks, guests are also invited to visit the Silverstone Museum following the conference.

Jon Thelwell, Sales Director, JJO Plc, added: “We joined the KBBG as a supplier in 2015 and have worked closely with members ever since. We are pleased to be sponsoring the Members’ Meeting; they are always a fantastic opportunity to meet with KBB specialists and build on current business relationships, as well as creating new ones. We look forward to sharing our latest products and offers with members of the KBBG on 12 June.”
