The official IFA 2026 app is now available to download, offering visitors a range of tools to help them plan their time at this year’s exhibition.
Available on both Apple App Store and Google Play, the app has been designed to help trade visitors, exhibitors, journalists and other attendees make the most of their visit to IFA, which takes place in Berlin from 4-8 September.
The app allows users to browse exhibitors, discover new products, explore show areas and stages, and create a personalised agenda before arriving at the event. Favourite exhibitors, keynote sessions, product launches and presentations can all be saved, making it easier to organise a schedule and adapt plans throughout the week.
For journalists, the app also offers tools to arrange meetings with exhibitors in advance, while retailers and buyers can use it to focus on the brands and product categories most relevant to their businesses.
One of the app’s headline features is its integrated indoor navigation system, which displays a user’s location on an interactive map of the exhibition grounds. Visitors can receive directions to exhibition halls, exhibitor stands, stages and events, while estimated walking times help them move efficiently around the show.
IFA says the feature is designed to help visitors keep appointments on time while making it easier to discover different areas of the exhibition.
The app also places a strong emphasis on networking. Registered participants can search for relevant contacts, exchange messages, arrange face-to-face meetings and receive recommendations for potential business connections based on their interests and activity within the app.
Leif Lindner, CEO of IFA Management GmbH, said: “IFA brings together people, brands, and ideas from around the world. With the IFA app, this experience begins even before the first day of the show.
“It helps our visitors find relevant content and contacts and make the most of their time at IFA. From initial planning and navigating the grounds to personal business meetings, the app guides users through the entire IFA experience.”
Registered attendees can activate their account using the email address they used to register for IFA and their personal badge ID before creating a password.
The official IFA 2026 app is available to download now from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
