Hoover Candy is celebrating after reaching a major milestone of selling more than one million freestanding appliances within a 12-month period.
The sales achievement was ratified on 20th December 2019, with business figures having doubled versus 2014, the company said.
Hoover Candy has experienced major growth across all product lines, with notably impressive sales of washing machines, tumble dryers and fridge freezers.
This accomplishment marks the end of a successful year for the Warrington-headquartered business which was acquired by Haier Europe in January 2019.
Steve Macdonald, business director – freestanding appliances at Hoover Candy, said: “To sell a million freestanding units is no mean feat, but to do it in under 12 months is incredible.

Hoover Candy was the fastest-growing household appliance manufacturer in Europe in 2018, while 2019’s overall success of the UK business also included impressive contributions from the built-in and SDA categories.
