Haier 1 Vision Conference: Plans unveiled to be #1 appliance manufacturer

Haier Europe has revealed its aims to the sustainable number one appliance manufacturer in the UK and Ireland in 2023; this came at the company’s recent 1 Vision Conference at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.

The event – the theme for which was ‘the power of three’, one dream, one goal, one vision – was in-person and also live streamed across the UK and overseas.

Haier invited trade partners, media and Haier colleagues to hear inspirational speeches from its senior leadership team, including Yannick Fierling, Jean Pascal Rey, Gianpiero Morbello, David Meyerowitz, Jim McEwan plus a host of other speakers across the business. They shared the exciting plans for growth in each of the market segments, with trade partners, suppliers, and its people at the heart of the ambition to build bigger and better.

The company aims to be the sustainable number one appliance manufacturer in the UK and Ireland in 2023 and to enter into the top three home appliance companies in Europe by 2026.

After the presentations, colleagues were treated to a live cookery demonstration by the newly-appointed brand ambassador for Haier, restauranteur and celebrity chef, Nisha Katona.

The conference was followed with a gala awards dinner for colleagues, co-hosted by Matthew Given and Hoover Brand Ambassador and celebrity chef, Simon Rimmer. During the evening colleagues across the organisation were recognised for their long service, dedication, and outstanding contribution to the business.
