The countdown is on to this year’s Exclusively Show, returning to The Business Design Centre, Islington on 11-12 June.

The Show organiser, BHETA, is offering independent retailers interested in visiting the event a generous package of incentives – including a £100 spending voucher – aimed at enabling them to enjoy the event for minimum outlay.

The Exclusively incentives deal for independents, which is funded by BHETA is, according to visitor data, proving ever more popular year on year.

The special deal means that any independent cookshop, gift shop, garden centre or retailer of small domestic electricals living over 50 miles from the show’s Islington home can claim travel expenses of up to £75. There are also a limited number of free hotel rooms available, as well as free hospitality, including a two-course lunch for all at the Show itself.

Meanwhile, the Exclusively £100 voucher, which will be accepted by all Show exhibitors, can be used towards any single order with a minimum value of £300 minimum (net VAT) placed at the event.

Marketing Director for The Exclusively Show, Steve Richardson, explained: “Exclusively is committed to helping all sizes and profiles of retail business make the most of the industry’s leading trade show. We know that independent stores have to work hard to maintain their High Street presence and this package is about helping them make the most of attending Exclusively and developing face-to-face relationships with suppliers.

“The show includes more than 140 exhibitors and 300 brands as well as previews of key trends in product colour, pattern, shape and materials, so it is a perfect opportunity for independents to check that their product choices and instore displays are ‘on the money’.  Inspirational product displays, trend talks and tours from trend forecaster, Scarlet Opus are hugely popular and it’s great to be able to make this ‘must see’ event super-accessible for everyone.”
