ESG plans for future growth with new HQ office and showroom

Eurosonic Group (ESG Ltd) – the retail supplier of homeware and electrical appliances – has announced that it has moved to a brand new head office and purpose-built showroom in Trafford Park near Manchester.

The company said that “due to continuous and significant growth”, it moved its 50 staff and set up a brand new extensive showroom which showcases ESG’s key household brand name ranges – including Daewoo Electricals, The Hairy Bikers Kitchenware, ProChef and Carnaby.

ESG has a 50-year heritage trading as a family business from Manchester since the 1970s following a move from Salford. Now working with retail customers including large high- street stores as well as thousands of independents, the specialist retail supplier will have its base in Trafford Park to help further the company’s planned expansion.

John Knight, Managing Director of ESG Ltd, said: “The company has grown significantly over the past 10 years with our turnover increasing to over £50 million per year and we had outgrown our head office in the centre of Manchester. This new location is ideally situated for us to welcome retailers from across the UK and Europe, and we have invested heavily in a purpose-built showroom that will enable us to show new products throughout the year.”

In addition to the move, ESG has also increased its brand portfolio in recent months with key licensed ranges including Jane’s Patisserie.

Mr Knight continued: “It’s a really exciting time for us as our team has also been working on some unique new product developments in the electrical and housewares which will be announced in the coming weeks.”

In addition to the new head office in Trafford, ESG maintains 100,000sq ft warehouse space servicing retail customers.
