Independent electrical retailers and kitchen specialists are being urged to take part in The ERT Report, an industry-wide survey designed to provide a clearer picture of what’s really happening across the sector.

At a time when businesses continue to navigate changing consumer habits, rising costs, increased competition and evolving supplier relationships, it’s more important than ever that the voices of independent retailers are heard.

ERT Editor Will McGill said: “Every day I speak to retailers who tell us they’re facing new challenges, seeing changing customer behaviours, or finding success in areas others aren’t. The problem is that too often these conversations happen in isolation.

“The ERT Report is our opportunity to bring those experiences together and create something genuinely useful for the industry. We want to hear directly from the people on the shop floor, serving customers and running businesses every day. But for the report to have real value, we need as many retailers as possible to take part.”

By taking just a few minutes to complete the survey, retailers will help create a comprehensive snapshot of the industry, covering topics such as sales performance, customer confidence, product trends and the biggest opportunities and challenges facing businesses today.

The more retailers who participate, the more valuable and representative the findings will be.

Importantly, all responses are completely anonymous. There are no requests for turnover figures or sensitive business information. Instead, the survey consists of straightforward, multiple-choice questions based on your experiences over the past year.

The results will be published in the July/August issue of ERT, providing retailers with valuable insight into how their peers are performing and the trends shaping the market.
