The shortlist of finalists for the ERT Awards 2016 has been chosen.
A panel of industry experts decided who should be in the running to pick up the retailer and training awards and, for the first time, independent retailers were asked to vote for their favourite suppliers, sales reps and products in a survey carried out by our ERT Awards research partner, leading field marketing agency Gekko.
Votes were collated for each category and each entry was awarded their percentage of the whole vote. They were then given a percentage of the votes of those retailers who stocked them. An average of the two figures was used to arrive at the winner. This ensured that smaller brands not stocked in as many stores had an equal chance of winning, thanks to the weighted voting system.
The winners of the ERT Awards 2016 will be revealed at a special lunchtime ceremony on Monday, October 17, at The Grand Connaught Rooms in London’s Covent Garden. For more information – and to book tickets – click here.
There will also be a Special Achievement Award, sponsored by Roberts Radio, which will be announced on the day. Samsung will sponsor the music quiz and the welcome drinks reception will be sponsored by Yamaha.
Said ERT editor Sean Hannam: “Congratulations to all the finalists – I look forward to seeing you all on October 17. Good luck.”
