Diego Perrone has joined Electrolux Group as Chief Strategy Officer, taking up the role from July 8 2026.
Diego Perrone has joined Electrolux Group as Chief Strategy Officer.
Mr Perrone, who was most recently leading Haier’s UK and Ireland business as Managing Director, succeeds Vincent Rotger, who has moved to head Electrolux Group’s Product Line Wellbeing & Small Domestic Appliances division.
In his new role, Mr Perrone will lead Electrolux Group’s Business Development organisation, overseeing business strategy as well as mergers and acquisitions. He will report directly to Group CEO Yannick Fierling and will be based in Stockholm as a member of the company’s Group Management team.
Following his departure from Haier, Jim McEwan has taken on the role of Managing Director of Haier’s UK and Ireland operations.
Before leading Haier’s UK and Ireland operation, Mr Perrone headed the company’s Europe Cooling Business Unit. Earlier in his career, he held a number of senior positions within Whirlpool EMEA and also worked as a management consultant for Kearney.
Welcoming Mr Perrone to the business, Mr Fierling said: “On behalf of everyone in Group Management, I want to wish Diego a warm welcome.
“He’s stepping in at the perfect time. Our new strategy is one I believe in strongly, and I also believe strongly in Diego to help us make it happen.”
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Perrone commented: “Joining Electrolux Group now is incredibly exciting. I have strong conviction in the new strategic direction, and I look forward to actively driving it and being part of the transformation the Group is undergoing.”
