Decent Audio, the exclusive UK distributor of Advance Paris, announces the UK availability of the French hi-fi brand’s flagship NOVA range.
The range comprises two integrated amplifiers: the A-i130 (130W per channel) and the A-i190 (190W per channel). Both combine a valve preamplifier stage with Class AB transistor amplification, pairing the character of valve circuitry with the power and control of solid-state amplification.
The NOVA amplifiers combine distinctive styling with extensive system flexibility. Brushed aluminium front panels, illuminated VU meters and visible valves give them a gorgeous appearance, while four-channel digital signal processing (DSP) provides room correction and independent EQ for the main speakers and up to two subwoofers. HDMI eARC, USB audio and multiple digital inputs make integration with modern systems straightforward.
The A-i130 delivers 130W per channel and offers a comprehensive range of analogue and digital connections, including an MM phono stage and HDMI eARC. Its configurable DSP supports stereo systems with one or two subwoofers, while an optional streaming cartridge adds network audio without needing a separate component.
The A-i190 builds on its sibling’s specification with a dual-mono design, using two separate toroidal transformers to provide greater power and channel separation. Alongside its 190W-per-channel output, it adds XLR inputs and a balanced XLR pre-out, an MC phono stage and additional coaxial digital connectivity.
Both amplifiers can be upgraded with the optional A-NTC streaming cartridge and A-BTC Bluetooth dongle. The latter enables two-way Bluetooth connectivity, including wireless headphone listening. The optional A-RTR rotary remote provides a tactile alternative to app-based control.
This modular approach lets listeners tailor their NOVA system to their needs, adding streaming or wireless connectivity as required rather than paying for features they may not use. It also gives the system the flexibility to adapt as listening habits and technology evolve, helping to extend its useful life.
