D.A.D Go Large with New Appointments

D.A.D have announced growth and promotion within their Sales team with the appointment of four industry professionals: Duncan Williams, David Edwards, Steve Sweet and Chris Coupar.

 

Duncan Williams has been promoted to the role of Sales Director

Celebrating his 10th year at D.A.D this year, award-winner Duncan has been an integral part of the company’s sales team, previously holding regional and national roles. He brings exceptional sales performance and knowledge of the industry to this role, alongside a passion to maintain and build lasting relationships with customers.

He is committed to the strategy of growth for D.A.D and will be responsible for leading and overseeing the company’s sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving revenue.

 

 

D.A.D welcomes David Edwards into the role of National Account Manager

A highly experienced industry expert, he has worked for Hoover Candy and Haier for over 20 years in both freestanding and built-in categories. Prior to this he worked in electrical retail for 7 years. He will be supporting the existing national accounts to help grow their business and generating new business with national and independent retailers.

 

 

 

 

 

Steve Sweet becomes Regional Sales Manager

Steve Sweet moves into a new joint role within the company as Regional Sales Manager, alongside his role in the National Contracts team. Having already been a part of the award-winning Contracts team for over 5 years, Steve has provided hands on support with large projects such as Redrow London and Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire. He also has over 30 years of experience in retail, contract and distribution within the appliance industry. He will be covering Wiltshire, Berkshire, Dorset and Hampshire, across to Kent, Sussex, Surrey and South London.

 

 

 

Chris Coupar joins as joint Regional Sales Manager

And fourth, Chris Coupar also joins the team as a Regional Sales Manager. He has spent the last 8 years working within the electrical wholesale sector. His previous experience includes completing a graduate scheme in distribution with Edmundson Electrical, and holding positions in Account, Sales and Branch Management. Chris will be covering the South West and South Wales.

Of the new appointments, Alison Taylor, MD at D.A.D said, “We are delighted to announce these new roles within the company. Duncan, David, Steve and Chris bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the business and will continue to provide the first-class service that we are known for.
