CIH New CEO Harry

Incoming CEO Harry Kyriacou

CIH has announced the appointment of Harry Kyriacou as its new Chief Executive Officer. He begins today (10 February).

This follows the departure of Paul Tyler, who announced in October that he was stepping down this coming April. Mr Tyler joined CIH in January 2022 and has worked tirelessly for the last three years to deliver support to its members.

CIH Chairman, Steve Scogings, said: “In only three years, Paul has made a significant difference to the business and has instilled a fantastic team ethic within the staff of CIH. The group is in a great place, and much of that is because of the vision, hard work and commitment that Paul has shown to the business.”

Incoming Mr Kyriacou brings a wealth of experience to his new CEO role, having previously served as Chief Commercial Officer at Strix for the past five years. His extensive career also includes senior positions with other industry companies including GDCA, Whirlpool, and Philips Consumer Electronics. The CIH Board said it is confident that Mr Kyriacou’s leadership and expertise will be instrumental in driving the continued success and growth of the company.

In September last year, ERT reported on CIH’s launch of two new home appliance own-brands into the UK market – read the full story here – which Mr Tyler spearheaded alongside a small team within CIH.

In next month’s print issue of ERT, we’ve got an exclusive interview with the CIH team about the introduction of the two new brands.
