Celebrate with TV and radio stars at this year’s Tric Awards

Don’t miss your chance to rub shoulders with a host of TV and radio celebrities at this year’s Tric Awards.

On Tuesday March 13, at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane, Tric (Television and Radio Industries Club) will be celebrating 49 years of the awards and recognising the very best talent in TV and radio.

This year, for the first time, ERT readers were asked to choose their favourite TV and radio programmes and personalities. The winners will be announced at the ceremony.

If you’re interested in booking a table or individual seats at this year’s Tric Awards, please email the events team at awards@tric.org.uk and quote “ERT” for a special ticket rate.

Said Tric chairman Richard Lindsay-Parsons: “The Brits, the National Television Awards and the Baftas have now been and gone…. so the next big date for your diary should be the Tric Awards, on Tuesday March 13, at the Grosvenor House Hotel. We’ll be celebrating 49 years of the event and recognising the very best talent and the nation’s most loved in TV and radio.”

He added: “As always, it promises to be a star-studded afternoon, hosted by Tric president, Lisa Snowdon, with leading stars confirmed from the nation’s favourite soaps and TV shows, such as EastEnders, Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Strictly Come Dancing, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, The Great British Bake Off, BBC Breakfast, This Morning, Match of the Day and A Question of Sport.

“If we’re lucky we might even see some drama from the reality stars of Love Island, TOWIE and Made In Chelsea, and, finally, let’s not forget our most loved radio DJs.

“It’s an excellent day out for corporate and client entertainment or sales team incentives, giving them an opportunity to rub shoulders with the nation’s favourite TV and radio stars. We hope to see you at Grosvenor House on Tuesday March 13, kicking off at 11:30am with a champagne reception.

“A big thanks to our sponsors – Sky, Pure, ST, Home Appliance Guard, Tibo, Smeg, SES, Assurant, AmTrust, Sony, DealBuyer, Glen Dimplex, Arqiva, Whirlpool and D&G.”

Tric was formed in 1931. It was established in the early days of broadcasting as the Radio Industries Club.

Its aim is to promote mutual understanding, goodwill and networking among those who are involved in the technology and related industries by holding high-profile events, and, in doing so, raise money for the good causes nominated by Tric.

This year Tric’s chosen charities are the Welsh’s children’s hospice Ty Hafan and Meningitis Now.
