Appliance brand CDA has confirmed the appointment of Chris Ward as its new managing director, following the recent departure of Dominic Worsley.
Mr Ward brings a wealth of experience, having previously served as Chair of New Digital Intelligence, a technology firm specialising in AI-powered customer service tools. He also held the position of retail director at high street retailer Wilko.
CDA described Mr Ward’s arrival, so close to year-end, as marking “a fresh start” for the company. It anticipates that his leadership will drive growth, enhance product innovation, and strengthen partnerships.
In a statement, Mr Ward expressed his enthusiasm for the role: “During the onboarding process, I’ve been deeply impressed by the brand’s heritage, its commitment to innovation, and the passion of the CDA team.”
Meanwhile, former Managing Director, Dominic Worsley, has transitioned to Middleby Residential, where he now serves as UK group Managing Director for well-known appliance brands including Aga, Rangemaster, and Novy.
