Beko announces the retirement of Tony Breislin

Beko plc has announced the retirement of Tony Breislin, Regional Sales Manager for the Independents. After almost seven years of service, he has decided to step down from his role and enter his retirement.

Channel Manager for the Independents, Steve Naylor, spoke of Mr Breislin’s achievements over the years, including winning industry awards such as the IER “Best Company Representative Award” in 2018. Mr Naylor said that Mr Breislin had helped to play a pivotal role in the development of Blomberg and all other Beko brands within CIH during his time with the company.

Beginning his career in the appliance industry in 1974, Mr Breislin (pictured) worked for Yorkshire Electricity Board, Friedland Doorbells and BSH, before joining Beko in 2015, as Regional Sales Manager for the Independents. Within this role, he was responsible for managing and developing his area and ensuring that all his customers received a high level of service.

The company said Mr Breislin has been “an integral member” of Beko plc independents sales team and his contributions to the company, and to the wider industry, will be valued and remembered by many.

Praising Mr Breislin for his huge contribution to Beko’s success, Mr Naylor added: “On behalf of everyone in Beko plc, we would like to wish Tony the very best of luck for the next chapter in his life.”

During his retirement, Mr Breislin plans to spend more time outdoors and with his family, watching more of his “beloved” Sheffield Wednesday, and potentially taking up bee keeping in his spare time!
