At IFA 2026, ASKO presented a complete portfolio of premium kitchen and laundry solutions built around one guiding principle: Precision Matters. All of this it says is enhanced by ASKO Sense, a connected platform that brings together intelligent assistance, personalised recommendations and smart automation. By helping users make the most of the capabilities already built into their appliances, ASKO Sense transforms technology into something that feels less like an added feature and more like a natural extension of daily life.

ASKO Sense – Second Nature connected intelligence, built into ConnectLife app and the full portfolio of ASKO appliances, is based on a simple idea: an appliance that knows its own capabilities should put that knowledge to work for the person using it, rather than adding technology for technology’s sake.

It brings together four connected services: AI Agents, Dish Designer, Smart Start and Live Activities to guide, inform and handle routine tasks across the kitchen and laundry. It was designed not to put more technology in front of users, but to take friction out of everyday life. By drawing on knowledge of the user’s specific ASKO appliance, it provides relevant guidance, recommends appropriate programmes and settings, and makes connected appliances easier to use without requiring users to learn every function themselves.

Wouter Ditters, Global Manager Smart Solutions & Services at ASKO, commented: “We didn’t set out to put more technology in front of people. We set out to take things off their plate. An ASKO appliance already holds a great deal of knowledge about how to cook, wash and care for things well. ASKO Sense makes that knowledge useful in the moment, so you get a better result and your attention back for everything else. The best technology becomes Second Nature. You stop thinking about it, and simply feel the difference.”

IFA visitors experienced also the latest generation of ASKO laundry solutions, including the ASKO One Care™ Cabinet and the award-winning Scandinavian Laundry Care 2.0.

The ASKO One Care™ Cabinet introduces a new approach to garment care based on a simple idea: not every garment needs to be washed. Combining steam treatment, drying and hygienic garment care in one elegant solution, it refreshes clothes that simply need to be renewed rather than washed.

The cabinet removes odours, smooths wrinkles and refreshes garments, including delicate and non-washable items such as cashmere and leather. Its Quick Refresh programme refreshes garments in just 20 minutes, while hygienic refresh programmes are designed to eliminate odours, allergens, bacteria and viruses.

Connected to the ConnectLife app, the cabinet also allows users to schedule and tailor cycles, monitor progress through Live Activities and receive important notifications directly on their smartphone.

For drying, ASKO’s Butterfly Drying™ technology alternates the direction of the drum rotation to help prevent garments from tangling, keeping them evenly separated and supporting a consistent drying result.

The entire laundry experience is connected through ConnectLife. Users can select programmes, start or schedule cycles and fine-tune settings remotely. With ASKO Laundry Care Link, the washing machine and tumble dryer work together intelligently: once a wash cycle is complete, the system suggests a suitable drying programme based on the selected wash cycle and the garments being washed, creating a seamless transition from washing to drying.

Celsius Ovens: Precise cooking and intelligent connectivity.

Celsius Ovens embody ASKO’s approach to precision cooking, combining Scandinavian design with advanced sensing technology and intelligent control. An integrated network of sensors continuously monitors temperature and moisture at multiple points in the oven, while the calibration function detects and corrects thermal deviations. This enables temperature stability of up to ±1 °C, providing the consistency needed for highly precise cooking.

A dedicated temperature probe adds another level of control by measuring the core temperature of food throughout the cooking process. This allows users to monitor the progress of their dish with greater accuracy and achieve the desired result with confidence.

The latest Celsius Elements series expands the range with a distinctive design that has been recognised with both the prestigious iF Design Award and Red Dot Award 2026.

Designed for durability. Engineered for control.

ASKO also showcased its new scratch-resistant induction hobs, combining Scandinavian restraint with advanced durability, precise cooking control and connectivity.

The hobs combine intuitive controls with features designed to increase precision, flexibility and convenience in everyday cooking. By reducing guesswork and giving users greater control, they bring together refined design, practical durability and a more connected cooking experience.

DW60 dishwasher series: Intelligent dishwashing and durability.

The ASKO DW60 dishwasher series demonstrated how precision engineering, durability and intelligent connectivity can come together in an everyday appliance.

With capacity for up to 17 EU place settings across four flexible basket levels and operating at just 37–38 dB(A), the DW60 combines high capacity with exceptionally quiet operation. Its patented UV Cleanse™ mode is designed to eliminate up to 99.99999% of bacteria, fungi and viruses, including during low-temperature, energy-saving cycles.

The series features ASKO’s 8 Steel™ construction, with eight critical components made from high-grade stainless steel to support durability, reliability and a long service life.

The DW60 series has been recognised with the prestigious iF Design Award 2026.

Nordic Fresh 2.0 refrigeration: Connected and intelligent refrigeration.

The latest generation of Nordic Fresh 2.0, including the Seamless Collection, completed ASKO’s connected kitchen experience at IFA 2026.

Nordic Fresh 2.0 combines freshness, energy efficiency and Scandinavian design with intelligent control. OptiFlow technology maintains a consistent temperature throughout the refrigerator and rapidly restores the internal climate after the door is opened. Advanced air circulation and a dry back wall support hygiene and make cleaning easier, while Auto Humidity Control maintains optimum humidity levels of 85–90% in the fruit and vegetable drawer, helping fresh produce stay fresh for longer.
