After its launch at IFA in 2025, the award-winning AEG N.E.W. Favorit dishwasher range has officially launched, with the full suite of appliances available for purchase in the UK later this year.
The range demonstrates AEG’s commitment to innovation and sustainability as it combines intelligent technology with sleek design and efficiency performance, balancing low water consumption, strong energy performance and exceptionally quiet operation.
Consumer research by AEG shows that water efficiency is a major priority for buyers, with 94 per cent saying water consumption is an important factor in their next appliance purchase. Designed to meet this demand, the N.E.W. Favorit dishwasher range, including the 8000 and 9000 Series, has a re-engineered water system, meaning it uses as little as 8.4 litres per cycle, while delivering outstanding results. The 9000 Series boasts an energy rating of A-10 per cent, and operates at just 35db, making it AEG’s most silent dishwasher range to date.
Gintautas Vaitekonis, Category Director for Dish in Europe and APMEA, said: “With this launch, AEG introduces the most silent and efficient dishwashers ever made. Our research revealed that over three quarters (88 per cent) of our customers want brands to help them be more environmentally friendly, and the new range reflects this, particularly with features such as AquaSave and SuperSilent, which help to reduce on water and energy usage, while going beyond the expected performance standards.”
Key technologies featured on the AEG N.E.W. Favorit 8000 and 9000 Series include:
- AquaSave: A re-engineered water system designed for maximum efficiency and cleaning performance, using just 8.4 litres of water on the ECO cycle.
- SuperSilent: 9000 Series Provides ultra-quiet operation as low as 35 dB, supported by optimised software control for smoother cycles and fine-tuned hydraulics that reduce vibration and noise.
- Satellite Clean®: An advanced spray arm system for enhanced coverage and cleaning power, completing intensive cleaning in as little as 90 minutes.
- ZoneClean: Available on the 8000 Series and above, this enables two-zone cleaning within a single cycle, adjusting water pressure for tough and delicate items.
- SmartSelect: a sleek touch slider interface allows users to easily select cycle time and view instant energy feedback, enabling real-time visibility of efficiency performance.
Additional features available within the dishwasher range are GlassCare, AirDry, ExtraSilent, ExtraDry and ExtraHygiene programme, which removes 99.9999 per cent of bacteria.
