Bertazzoni has reinforced its style, engineering and innovation credentials with the launch of several new hobs – its first ever matt black induction hob and a TFT-controlled, metal-framed model with pot moving function.

The Modern Series 78cm matt induction hob (P784I1M30QP) features an intuitive control interface which is invisible when off and illuminated when active; embodying Bertazzoni’s philosophy of discreet elegance and intuitive functionality.

The scratch-proof, frosted-glass finish minimises reflection and fingerprints for a consistently clean and elegant appearance.

Featuring four induction zones, the hob has multi-zone functionality for oversized cookware. With nine power levels, each individual zone is also equipped with a booster, providing a maximum output of 3kW.

It has ultra-quiet operation, too, alongside functions including pot detection, recall, pause, child lock and timer.

Launched alongside the matt model within the Modern Series are super-premium 78cm hob with TFT display, pot moving function and three metal frame options.

With four cooking zones, which can be combined for large cookware, the hob has nine power levels, as well as both booster and double booster functions for ultra-quick heating. The maximum output of 3.7kW ensures shorter boiling times and higher cooking temperatures, perfect for meat searing.

Offering maximum flexibility and convenience, one of its stand-out features is a pot moving function which automatically transfers cooking settings from one zone to another when the cookware is moved.

Bertazzoni Assistant is built-in to the hob, too, offering a range of programmes including steaming, water boiling and pasta. It works through a sensor at the centre of each cooking zone which constantly monitors the temperature of the cookware and automatically adjusts the power based on the selected programme. This ensures perfect results with no effort.

Bertazzoni’s pièce de résistance is a stylish metal frame, available in stainless steel (P784I1M37XT), carbonio (P784I1M37CT) and gold (P784I1M37GT) finishes, making it easy to match with other Modern Series appliances.

Paul Whyte, director at Bertazzoni UK Ltd, said: “People very passionately prefer gas or induction and these latest models are the ultimate in intuitiveness for the latter.

“Thanks to technological advancements, we’ve created new, innovative models that can take some of the guess work out of cooking. Much akin to a sous chef, users can interact with the tech as much or as little as they like.

“Our new induction hobs offer something quite different aesthetic-wise and are certainly a break away from the static black rectangles widely available on the market.”

Renowned for made in Italy across the globe and the world’s oldest family-owned appliance manufacturer, Bertazzoni is a family-run business headquartered in Emilia-Romagna. With a commitment to continuously making the future, its kitchen appliances have always been designed to help people bring the best home-cooked food to the family table.
