Independent electrical retailer The Appliance Store has opened a new, larger showroom in Burnley, marking the next stage in the company’s growth.

Located at Unit 8a, Empire Business Park, Enterprise Way, the new premises provide expanded space to showcase the retailer’s range of domestic appliances while enhancing the customer experience.

To celebrate the opening, The Appliance Store hosted a community open day, welcoming customers and local residents to tour the new showroom while raising money for two Lancashire charities – Healthier Heroes and Curry On The Street.

The event featured family-friendly activities, competitions, complimentary food from Raidy’s food truck, a charity raffle, giveaways and a football challenge in partnership with Nelson FC, with visitors also meeting social media personality Dad The Dish.

Healthier Heroes supports veterans, serving personnel and their families across Lancashire, while Curry On The Street works to tackle poverty, social isolation and food insecurity across Burnley, Nelson and the surrounding area.

The retailer said the event was designed to celebrate the opening of its new showroom while bringing the local community together and supporting two organisations making a positive difference across the region.
